The Science Behind Our Soft Wash Systems | Prestige Pressure Washing
When most people think of pressure washing, they picture blasting away dirt with high-powered water jets. While traditional pressure washing works for many surfaces, delicate areas like roofs, siding, and certain building exteriors require a much safer — and smarter — approach. That’s where Prestige Pressure Washing’s soft wash system comes in.
Why Soft Washing Is Different
Unlike high-pressure cleaning, soft washing uses specialized detergents and low-pressure application to safely eliminate organic growth like:
Algae
Mold
Mildew
Moss
Bacteria
Lichen
This method prevents damage to shingles, vinyl, stucco, EIFS, wood, and painted surfaces that can easily be harmed by high PSI equipment.
The Cleaning Solutions We Use
Our trained team customizes every cleaning solution for the surface being treated. Some of the industry-leading products we rely on include:
Sodium Hypochlorite: The active ingredient that kills organic growth at the root.
Dragon Juice & EBC: Professional degreasers for tough stains, oil, and heavy grime.
One Restore: Used for rust, irrigation stains, and mineral deposits on delicate surfaces.
These solutions are mixed carefully following manufacturer specs to ensure maximum cleaning power while being safe for landscaping, pets, and surrounding property.
How Our Commercial Equipment Makes the Difference
Our custom-built pressure washing rigs allow us to:
Apply solutions evenly with controlled low pressure (under 300 PSI)
Deliver up to 20 gallons per minute for large-scale coverage
Use 6-foot surface cleaners for fast, streak-free results on flat surfaces
Heat water when needed for advanced degreasing or winter cleaning
Access hard-to-reach areas with telescoping wands and boom lifts
This specialized equipment allows Prestige Pressure Washing to clean residential homes and massive commercial complexes safely, quickly, and thoroughly.
