Dome Cleaning for Club Pickle & Padel: Red-Carpet Ready

Even brand-new domes need a clean start. After site mud and snow stained the membrane during staging, Prestige prepped the front section of Club Pickle & Padel’s inflatable dome for a fast-approaching grand opening—using a multi-purpose cleaner + hand brushing before our high-volume, low-pressure hot-water rinse. Access was handled with a 120′ boom lift for maximum reach and impact.

Why This Dome Needed a Different Approach

  • Timing: Only weeks before the grand opening—front section had to shine.
  • Soil type: Mud and dirt transferred to the exterior while laid out pre-inflation (snow & rain).
  • Access: 120′ boom lift to reach as high as possible; full top not fully reachable in phase one.
  • Finish goal: Add curb appeal and wow factor now; evaluate options to complete full exterior later.

Our Process for This Project

1
Pre-Site Inspection & Demo

Weeks ahead, we tested methods to match the dome fabric and soil load—confirming the safest, most effective approach.

2
Multi-Purpose Cleaner (Dwell)

Applied to break down caked dirt and mud where standard microbial pretreat wasn’t sufficient.

3
Hand Brushing

Physical agitation across problem zones to loosen soils without stressing seams or coatings.

4
High-Volume, Low-Pressure Hot-Water Rinse

Membrane-safe rinse for an even finish—no aggressive blasting.

5
Lift & Logistics

Operated a 120′ boom lift for maximum reach; phased work to deliver the most visible impact first.

6
Evaluate Next Steps

The front section results were dramatic; we’re reviewing options to complete the remaining high-reach areas.

Inflatable Dome Cleaning FAQs

Do new domes really need cleaning?

Yes—staging, weather, and construction activity can stain membranes before opening. A targeted clean restores the “like-new” look for launch.

Why not use the standard microbial + rinse here?

Heavy mud required a multi-purpose cleaner + hand brushing to mechanically loosen soils before our membrane-safe hot-water rinse.

Can you reach the very top of large domes?

We use lifts and rope access options where appropriate. In this phase we used a 120′ boom lift and are exploring methods to finish remaining high areas.

Is your method safe for PVC/PVDF and similar fabrics?

Yes—cleaners are selected for compatibility, agitation is controlled, and rinsing is low pressure with appropriate temperature.

Do you travel for dome projects?

Absolutely. We’re among the few U.S. teams specializing in mobile, on-site dome cleaning for sports and event structures.
